To get the most out of your tutoring sessions, please make sure you have:
A laptop or desktop computer (tablets may work, but a full screen is recommended)
A stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps for video sessions)
Secure headphones or clear speakers for focused listening
A quiet, distraction-free environment for your sessions
Basic stationery (notebook, pen/pencil) for taking notes
A positive attitude and willingness to learn at your own pace
WhatsApp or Email for file exchange like worksheets, school assignments etc
If you’re missing anything on the list, let us know - we’re here to help you get set up.
We keep things simple, flexible, and focused on what the learner truly needs. Here's what to expect:
Once payment is received, you'll get a calendar link to book your lessons at a time that suits you
A confirmation will be sent once your lesson is booked, with your unique Google Meet lesson link to open on your laptop. This link will be yours forever, and can be used for all future lessons
Booked lessons cannot be rescheduled unless a valid doctor’s note is provided. If a lesson is missed it is forfeited, but not lost as work can be sent to you via email
A personalised lesson plan and any worksheets or resources are provided via email
There is no homework given – learners already have enough from school
If classwork isn’t completed during the session, it should be finished before the next one
Lessons are tailored to each learner’s goals, progress, and weekly needs – no two sessions are the same
Learners are encouraged to ask questions and guide the focus – it's about what they need that day
Parents are welcome to sit in on lessons, but this is completely optional
File exchanges such as worksheets you may need help with, can be sent via WhatsApp (preferred method) or email
